Yesterday, I was at the Natural History Museum with my mom and sister and we learned about insects in an exhibit called The Palace of Exotic Wonders.  The first thing I saw was a glow in the dark scorpion.  Their exoskeleton has a special characteristic that is called bioluminescence which glows under a black light.

The next insect display I saw were the one's who were accused of crimes of death and destruction.  For example, the Black Widow was accused of killing her husband.
The Tarantula was accused of injecting venom into humans.  They really use their venom to paralyze their prey and it would only bite a human rare cases.
The Sarcophagus explains how meal worms spin themselves into cacoons for metamorphosis to form into a beetle.

This is showing the exhibit where they displayed a huge Tarantula frozen in a block of ice.  Some people say it's not real.

I want to get an ant farm like this one.
